The City of Dinuba hereby requests proposals for professional consulting services that will conduct and coordinate specified tasks related to advancing the Dinuba Flood Mitigation Project to the construction phase.
The selected Consultant selected shall provide all services necessary to complete the Design / Engineering / Environmental / Bidding Support tasks related to the “Dinuba Flood Mitigation Project”– Professional Consulting Services for the “Dinuba Flood Mitigation project.
Proposals are due no later than 4:00 P.M. PST, on Monday, May 20, 2024. Proposals shall be emailed clearly identified “Dinuba Flood Mitigation Project” for Design/ Engineering/Environmental/Bidding Assistance – Professional Consulting Services and emailed to Elva Patino at epatino@dinuba.ca.gov .

Notice is Hereby Given: The City of Dinuba (City) is the Lead Agency on the below-described Project and has prepared an Initial Study / Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) on the proposed Empire Estates Residential Project (Project) which includes the development of a single-family residential development in the western part of the City. The complete Project description, location and the potential environmental effects are contained in the MND. The MND has concluded that no significant environmental impacts will occur as a result of the Project.
A new roundabout at the intersection of Kamm and Alta will begin construction starting on Monday, November 27th. Pending weather and other challenges, the road is anticipated to be complete and open to traffic on May 17th, 2024. However, the Contractor will be making every effort to have the intersection open earlier, if possible. Alternate routes around and into Dinuba have been established.
For those coming into Dinuba from Visalia please use Avenue 400 to go either east to Road 88 or west to Road 72 to continue into Dinuba. For those going south to Visalia please use El Monte Ave to either Road 72 or Road 88, south to Avenue 400. Once on Avenue 400 you can than access Road 80 to continue travel south. (See attached route map)
Additional underground work will also occur as part of the new Dinuba High School project as part of the new roundabout project. The new intersection will allow for increase safety and the continuous flow of traffic in and out of Dinuba.
