The California Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) is pleased to announce that the City of Dinuba has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $3.5 million for the North Dinuba Infrastructure Improvements Project.
The North Dinuba Infrastructure Improvements Project will provide much-needed sewer facilities along North Alta Avenue. The project will consist of approximately 4,000 lineal feet of sewer main to serve North Alta Ave. In addition, the project will include the reconstruction of Griggs Avenue which will entail the construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, decorative streetlights, landscape and irrigation, and other roadway infrastructure.
City Council and staff are excited to see this project come to life as it will provide a significant benefit to Dinuba residents along Alta Ave. North of Nebraska Ave. More information regarding this project, including construction dates, and traffic related announcements will be posted at a later date.
