The City of Dinuba established the Local Government Internship program to provide college, university or graduate students with the opportunity to gain both academic and practical experience working in local government. Internships are paid and designed to provide participants the opportunity to apply academic skills to various real world assignments while under the employ of the City. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the City of Dinuba and the exceptional services provided to the community.

POSITION TITLE: Local Government Intern
DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: Intern(s) may work in one or more City departments: A complete list of job duties is available for interested applicants.

HOURS: 20 hours per week, up to 160 hours per fiscal year July 1 – June 30.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a licensed driver, resident of Dinuba (DHS boundaries), and currently enrolled in college, university or graduate program.
COMPENSATION: $10.00 to $15.00 per hour commensurate with level of study.
