| Vocational Nursing Program Qualifications |
All students are required to complete a required number of hours to graduate. Total hours have to be approved by Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners for this approval program:
- Be eighteen years of age or older.
- Show proof of GED/High school diploma. If graduated from a high school outside of the United States, restrictions apply.
Please contact the nursing office.
- Be a Certified Nurse Assistant or have worked as a Nurse Assistant for a six month period within the last two years.
- Pass a written examination designed to test math and reading skills with a tenth grade level.
- Complete an application to the program.
- Completion of prerequisite classes in Anatomy, Medical Terminology, Medical Math, and Study Skills.
- Have a current Health Care Provider completion for CPR.
